Packers coach Matt LaFleur anticipates running back Josh Jacobs will remain on the roster following new allegations of abuse against him. Jacobs had previously missed six games while on the commissioner’s exempt list after his May arrest on domestic abuse charges, including strangulation and intimidation, to which he later pleaded no contest to misdemeanor counts. NBC26 reported that at least three additional women have contacted police with similar allegations against Jacobs, dating back to 2021 and 2022. LaFleur stated, 'We’re aware of the prior allegations on Josh and we’re going to allow the NFL to do its process,' adding, 'But I do anticipate him being a member of us moving forward.' He declined to elaborate further on his personal stance, emphasizing the team would let the process play out. The NFL has confirmed it is reviewing these previously unreported allegations. Jacobs' lawyers issued a statement denying all new claims, calling the revelation 'character assassination.' Despite the ongoing situation, Jacobs returned to play in Week 7 and scored two touchdowns in a recent game.
