Nicolas Cage's $10.5 million Malibu mansion is at risk after a massive sinkhole, believed to be caused by coastal erosion, swallowed its driveway and other items.
A 30-by-30-foot sinkhole has opened up at Nicolas Cage's recently purchased $10.5 million Malibu beachfront mansion, consuming the driveway, a port-a-potty, and fence panels. The "National Treasure" star's home, bought in 2024, is now a site of significant damage, with photos showing the devastation and workers assessing the situation. Firefighters initially responded to a suspected gas main break, and gas company workers are currently on-site restoring the main. The sinkhole is believed to be caused by coastal erosion, but no evacuations have been ordered despite the dramatic damage.
