A Powerball ticket sold at a Murphy USA gas station outside Little Rock, Arkansas, in Cabot, claimed the $1.817 billion jackpot in the Christmas Eve drawing. The winning numbers were 04, 25, 31, 52, 59, with the Powerball number being 19. This monumental win concludes a 46-consecutive-drawing streak without a top-prize winner and is the second-largest jackpot in U.S. history, as well as the largest Powerball prize of 2025 according to Powerball.com. The winner has the option of a lump sum cash payment of $834.9 million. The identity of the winner remains unknown, as lottery claims centers are closed for the holidays until Monday. This marks only the second time a Powerball jackpot has been won by a ticket sold in Arkansas, with the first occurring in 2010. The last time a Powerball jackpot was won on Christmas Eve was in 2011.
