Porn star Drake Von has had all five domestic violence and robbery charges against him dismissed by a judge, with the case now officially closed.
Porn star Drake Von, whose real name is Dawson Bacon, is off the hook in his domestic violence case as a judge has dismissed all five charges against him, including robbery and domestic battery by strangulation. The case is now officially closed. Prosecutors filed a motion to dismiss the case last week, which was granted without objection from Von's defense attorney. The dismissed charges also included coercion constituting domestic violence involving the threat or use of physical force, and two counts of domestic battery. Von stated to TMZ that he was grateful the matter concluded and knew he was innocent from the start, also sending a message to critics. He was arrested in Las Vegas in June after allegations he attempted to strangle his female partner, with body cam footage showing the accuser stating she couldn't breathe and briefly lost consciousness. Von had consistently denied the allegations, calling the situation a misunderstanding and a publicity stunt. His no-contact order was also canceled. However, Von is still facing a separate, active, and pending DUI case from a June arrest.
