President Donald Trump's primary legal fund, Save America PAC, is facing a severe financial crisis, reporting over $1.9 million in debt and dwindling cash reserves after extensive spending on his numerous court cases.
President Donald Trump’s main legal fund, Save America PAC, is nearly $2 million in debt, specifically $1.9 million, according to a recent Federal Election Commission filing covering July 1 to September 30. The PAC's cash reserves plummeted from $1.2 million at the year's start to just $32,256 by September 30, after spending over $5.4 million in the third quarter alone, bringing its annual spending to more than $14 million. This fund has been crucial in covering Trump's legal expenses, including his New York 'hush money' trial, classified documents case, and Georgia election interference case. Outstanding debts include approximately $239,000 to Brito PLLC, $761,000 to Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, and $34,000 to Dhillon Law Group Inc. Since leaving office in 2021, Trump has reportedly spent upwards of $100 million on legal fees, facing four criminal prosecutions and civil fraud proceedings, including defamation lawsuits. Trump has consistently denied any wrongdoing, labeling the legal actions against him as 'political persecution' and a 'witch hunt'.
