Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic suffered a left knee injury just before halftime against the Miami Heat, forcing him out of the game. An MRI is scheduled to determine the severity, with his potential absence posing a massive blow to the Nuggets' season and the NBA.

Denver Nuggets' three-time MVP Nikola Jokic sustained a left knee injury late in the first half of Monday night's game against the Miami Heat. After a stellar first half performance with 21 points, eight assists, and five rebounds, Jokic went down in pain when teammate Spencer Jones accidentally stepped on his left foot, causing his knee to buckle. He did not return for the second half, and an MRI is scheduled to determine the extent of the damage. Nuggets coach David Adelman expressed deep concern, acknowledging the team will need to adapt if Jokic, who averages near a triple-double this season (29.9 points, 12.4 rebounds, 11.1 assists) and has been remarkably durable, faces significant time off. His absence would be a 'massive blow' to Denver's playoff aspirations and the league, especially as the team is already managing multiple other key injuries.
